In 2019 and 2021, Zonta International was pleased to support the Zonta International Women in Technology Scholarships to encourage women to pursue education, career opportunities and leadership roles in information technology. In June 2022, the Zonta International membership voted to continue the program with an expanded focus on all STEM fields, not only technology.
Though about 40% of the world’s workforce is women, according to data from the Inter-Parliamentary Union, only 25.7% of all national parliamentarians were female as of 1 September 2021. Because Zonta International believes that young women are the key to women’s advancement in the field of public service, it offers the Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Award, which recognizes young women, ages 16-19, for demonstrating leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes, and encourages them to continue their participation in public and political life.

All students need to do is write a 500-word essay on one of the specified topics that relate to the importance of academic integrity, especially in the context of modern challenges such as AI and plagiarism, and attach any valid document proving your student status and submit it along with the application form at the link below. The scholarship program is annual.
The Harper-Wood Creative Writing & Travel Award for English Poetry and Literature is to encourage a project of creative writing by making it possible for the holder to engage in relevant, project-related travel and study.
MAGIC Grants is excited to open scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 school year! We are awarding three (3) $2,000 USD scholarships, to be announced in August. We will distribute scholarships in two installments, in August 2024 and January 2025. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA or greater on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent performance on another scale to receive the second installment of their scholarship. Current recipients are welcome to apply for future scholarships.
