The Lionel Gell Excellence Award was established by the Lionel Gell Foundation and is offered to high achieving students who completed the second year of an undergraduate or graduate degree in selected disciplines with the Faculty Fine Arts and Music.

The Arts Graduate Research Essentials Grant supports Faculty of Arts Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Masters by Research (MA) graduate researchers to conduct research activities essential for their thesis completion. Short periods of fieldwork, archival research, participant observation, interviews, and other data gathering all fall within the remit of the scheme.
