Founded in 1926, the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière provides high-level training in image and sound professions and is an international leader in the fundamentals of these fields. It is the only institution in France to deliver excellent training to become a cinematographer, sound engineer or photographer.
The school also participates in applied research projects and offers continuing education (short courses). It also runs a summer university program for 5 weeks between July and August.

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.
