The delhi government has decided to support the education of meritorious students belonging to economically weak sections/disadvatageous groups of society.
The Smt. Geeta Lochan Girl Child Scholarship Programme at Arunachal University of Studies is a beacon of empowerment, specifically designed to support meritorious girl children from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Chancellor Meritorious Scholarship at Arunachal University of Studies is aimed at students who have achieved exceptional academic performance. Students scoring 95% or higher in their Senior Secondary Examination or 90% or higher in their Graduation are eligible for significant financial support. The scholarship offers up to 100% reimbursement on tuition fees for selected courses at the university, facilitated through the World Education Mission. This initiative underscores a commitment to rewarding academic excellence and supporting deserving students in pursuing higher education at Arunachal University of Studies.
The Managing Committee of World Education Mission, the sponsoring body of Arunachal University of Studies has approved establishment of Governor’s Chair for providing scholarships to Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) students under BPL Category. The expenses of scholarships will be borne by World Education Mission along with various government and non-government social organizations. World Education Mission is intended to provide scholarship to 150 deserving candidates for the academic year 2024-25 under the Governor’s Chair.
Under the Gautam Buddha Chair at the Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), a scholarship programme has been introduced to support students from any community or religion who believe in the principles of Lord Gautam Buddha and have a family income of less than ₹2,50,000 per annum. Recipients of this scholarship are required to undertake a mandatory elective in Buddhist Studies each semester alongside their regular coursework.
The students under this Scholarship will receive upto 50% of the Course fee reimbursement from World Education Mission for pursuing their studies.
By reducing financial barriers, the scholarship aims to facilitate greater access to higher education and empower students to achieve their spiritual, academic and professional goals.
Under the Nang Iksha Mein Chair at Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), a scholarship programme has been introduced to support the educational aspirations of students belonging to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) community and whose family income is less than ₹2,50,000 per annum.To be eligible, applicants must also obtain a recommendation from the office of Hon’ble Chowna Mein, who also serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
Under the Chau Zingnu Namchoom Chair at Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), a scholarship programme has been introduced to support the educational aspirations of students belonging to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) community and whose family income is less than ₹2,50,000 per annum.
To be eligible, applicants must also obtain a recommendation from the office of Hon’ble Chau Zingnu Namchoom, who also serves as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh.
