The SPS Global Diversity Scholarship is designed to help students with financial need participate in SPS Global Field Intensive (GFI) courses during the J-term, spring, or summer semesters. By creating opportunities for students who may not otherwise be able to participate in a global experience, the Global Diversity Scholarship is one effort in our broader mission of ensuring access to global education at SPS. Recipients of the scholarship will receive a grant that covers the entire program fee for the GFI in which they are enrolled.
The Social Impact Award recognizes incoming students who have a strong passion for social entrepreneurship. Recipients of this award are characterized by their passion, optimism, and commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award recognizes students who put ideas into action. Entrepreneurial Spirit recipients are characterized by their passion, perseverance, and resourcefulness.
The IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowships offers a limited number of grants for excellent students from developing countries.
Professional mathematicians are invited to nominate highly motivated and mathematically talented students from developing countries who plan to complete a doctoral degree in a developing country, including their own home country. Nominees must have a consistently good academic record and must be seriously interested in pursuing a career of research and teaching in mathematics.
JASSO offers scholarship for qualified international students who are accepted by a Japanese university, graduate school, junior college, college of technology or professional training college under a student exchange agreement or other student exchange arrangement on a short-term basis from 8 days to one year between Japanese school and their home higher educational institution outside Japan
This is a scholarship program for privately-financed international students with excellent academic and character records who are enrolled in undergraduate schools, graduate schools, junior colleges, colleges of technology, specialized course in specialized training colleges, university preparatory courses or Japanese language institutes in Japan (hereinafter “educational institution(s)”) and are facing financial difficulties.
